What are Chalk Paints?
Bluebird Chalk Paints are water based paints which do not require any sanding or priming. The topcoat sealant/wax for the Bluebird Chalk Paint is Bluebird Polyurethane Clear Coat. Chalk Paints can be applied on wood, metal, concrete, and terracotta planters.
What is the coverage of Chalk Paint?
500ml Chalk Paint covers 60sqft 2 coats That’s enough to cover a double bed or a standard door (two sides) Polyurethane Clear Coat topcoat has the same coverage
Can Chalk Paint be done on dark coloured furniture?
It works on colours of all bases however would require over 4 coats on dark surfaces, so more paint required. Another solution is to base coat with 3 in 1 water based primer, that could save you a coat or two and is totally compatible.
